Once your certificate in hand, which usually takes 5-6 weeks, you will be able to use our club boats, learn boat specific seamanship, improve your sailing skills by casual sails or more organized training programs run by our members. Other sessions will be organized to improve your skills. (Catamaran, Laser, CanSail 3, Racing...)
This Catch-up series is offered for the 2025 CANSail 3&4 students. The classes will be held on the following dates:
CanSail 3 classes offer training in advanced skills. The prerequisites are CanSail 1&2 (White Sail III or equivalent), and additional sailing experience- usually a full season of sailing. CanSail 3 is offered most years.
In 2026, CanSail 3 classes will be held between June 3rd and July 5th with the following schedule:

CanSail4 classes offers racing skills in a variety of wind conditions and includes participating in a Regatta or Harbour Masters series with the instructor coaching. The prerequisite is CanSail 3 and some race training and racing experience. CanSail 4 lessons were offered last year and the intention is to offer them again this year.
In 2026, CanSail 4 classes is expected be held on Tuesdays and Saturdays, between July 28th and August 29th:

At Mooredale, we have a tradition of sharing sailing tips openly, which made our club the place to become a great sailor! One of the best way to improve your sailing skill tremendously and to get the full experience of sailing is to participate to our race training and racing events.
