Instructor-led Beginner Laser Clinic

A Beginner Laser Clinic will be held on Wednesday, August 5th from 6pm to 9pm.

This clinic will include laser specific rigging and basic on-water sailing exercises.

This lesson is designed for 5-6 students, allowing our instructor to give personalized feedback on- and off-water.

Pre-requisite for clinic: Cansail 1/2

COST: $15 + HST

Show up and bring friends to Wednesday Night Dinner! This week, Johanna is your host, bringing the bold, vibrant flavors of the Middle East to Mooredale with a feast of sizzling beef koftas, fresh salads, warm flatbread, fragrant lentil rice, and all the delicious accompaniments.

Whether you're coming for the sail, the food, or the laughs, this is the perfect evening to relax, make friends, and complain about work. Come on out for an incredible homemade meal.

We are fairly positive Johanna has the inside scoop on the best sunscreen. No gate keeping...just ask her on Wednesday and lend a helping hand.

This year, Mooredale Regatta will take place on the 8th August. Join us for the our annual multi-club regatta: a fun, community-driven day of racing, food, and celebration!

This is a scored, multi-race event, open to all members that have passed CanSail2, with prizes awarded at the end of the day. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or just getting your sea legs, we’d love to see you on the water!

Note: Specific details about eligibility to participate is found at the bottom of this announcement.

Schedule

9:00 AM – Registration
9:30 AM – Skippers’ Meeting
10:45 AM – First Gun
Max 6 races

Dinner afterwards will be Portuguese churrasco, (Rotisserie chicken, potatoes, salad, rice and vegan pasta).All gluten free, with Music and Beer.

Even if you're not sailing, there's a great party afterwards.

Entry Fees

per boat, including two dinners: $95
for a dinner only: $35

Participation Note:

Helms: Participation as a Helm is the same as an FNR. We recommend that anyone helming in the Regatta has helmed in a number of FNRs prior to helming in a Regatta or has crewed for a full season of FNRs and has passed CanSail3.
Crews: Participation as a Crew is also the same as an FNR. Crew must have passed CanSail2 and have participated in two Monday Night Race Training sessions.
